Ate at Nagasaki's with the grands & son recently. Harold was our cook, he's been there since our boys were young kids. Great entertainer, great hibachi chef. Everyone loved the dinner & presentation. Been a long time since I've been to Nagasaki. It won't be that long before we're back & looking forward to it.

I haven't been here in years and it's still as nostalgic as I remember. I was the first and only one in there and was seated in the back immediately at a hibachi table. What looked like the owner or manager quickly brought me water. I decided to start with 2 sushi rolls Salmon skin roll KamkaziI roll Both were really tasty. And tasted fresh. I got the hibachi chicken and steak and babyyy those sauces that came with them. Everything was so good and the chef was so friendly. Since I was the only one at the table we had a great conversation. I actually forgot why I stopped coming here but this will def be my go to hibachi spot now.

This restaurant is a childhood memory of mine. The sauces and dressings are so unique where the owner is extremely tight lipped about, but I just learned tonight that they are Finally FINALLY going to sell them to the public. I almost Jumped out of my chair because that made me so happy!! Even though I now reside many many miles away it's comforting to know that I'll someday be able to purchase this certain childhood memory.

This is one of our favorite hibachi restaurants in the Memphis area. The cooks are always entertaining and the food is always on point. Highly recommend to anyone looking for some good hibachi.

Wonderful service. I went twice on my trip and enjoyed the food each time. It was very tasty and I got the steak (cooked perfectly) with rice and all the veggies. I visit here rather than other hibachi places because of the welcoming environment and positive energy.

This place was surprisingly good. It may look old and outdated but the food is good and really inexpensive for hibachi. The chef was an older gentleman and he was really funny and personable. The service was great and the sushi tasted fresh. I recommend for a cheap hibachi spot.

I've been coming here for over 20 years (practically since I was born!) and I STILL get insane cravings for this place. You'll never get tired of it. I can't even recommend anything specific on the menu because you can't go wrong no matter what you order! Pro tip: do NOT skip the bean sprouts that come with the meal, they'll change your life. And btw for everyone complaining about the uncharges, is says right there on the menu that fried rice costs extra. Did you think the butter/veggies/sauce they put in it was free? You will need a reservation to eat here most nights because it's popular for good reason, but they're easy enough to set up and you won't regret it!

Nagasaki is a staple for my family on birthdays. You should prepare yourself: this restaurant is dated. This is not Benihhana's. This is not a chain. This is a long standing neighborhood hibachi and the locals are very protective of it. You'll need reservations and still may have a small wait--well worth it for the food. Pro-Tips: As others said, there is a 2 for 1 coupon in the paper. Even without it, meals run $15-$20 and are very filling. Always order the fried rice. Be prepared for the chef's tricks. They can put chopsticks together for the kids at the table to give them the authentic experience. And, finally, you will be sharing the table with others, most likely. The communal tables sit 8.
